DAAD: First exchange with UFCS Florianópolis - Brazil

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sabine Hoffmann and Dr.-Ing. Katharina Boudier traveled to the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Florianópolis (Brazil) to visit their cooperation partners in the project Energy Efficiency and Resiliency of Buildings within the framework of the DAAD program Project Related Exchange of Persons Brazil CAPES. During the first personal meeting with the team of LABEE (LABORATÓRIO DE EFICIÊNCIA ENERGÉTICA EM EDIFICAÇÕES) the planning for the upcoming cooperation projects was concretized. In the coming years, three young scientists* from the GST team will travel to Brazil for two to four weeks and four young scientists* from LABEEE will come to Kaiserslautern for 6-9 months to carry out joint projects. In addition to many personal meetings, further laboratories in Florianópolis were visited, covering for example the topics of photovoltaics and hydrogen production.
