Equipment and Services

Experimental Facilities

In addition to conventional soil mechanical laboratory equipment the following experimental facilities are available:

  • Sand pit 5 x 5 x 5m with loading device for geotechnical and terramechanical tests
  • High temperature triaxial cell for rock samples
  • True triaxial device for frozen soil samples
  • Triaxial devices with temperature control
  • Cyclic triaxial devices
  • Large direct shear device
  • Measuring system for vibration tests
  • Measuring device for tensile tests on anchors, nails and micropiles
  • Resonant-column apparatus with temperature control

soil mechanical laboratory tests

The following list provides an overview of our services for soil mechanical laboratory testing. All tests are carried out according to the current DIN standards, partially with more advanced equipment. Our offers refer to natural soils without pollutants. Contaminated soils must be declared upon delivery and can only be investigated after prior permission.
