The FM - TGA employees met on May 19 and 20 for a company outing and a closed meeting in Geierlay and Stetten (Pfalz) in order to be able to define and formulate the focal points and goals of the department under the leadership of Prof. Sabine Hoffmann.

On Thursday morning (May 19), the good weather was used to visit many relevant localities during a tour.

The stops on the tour were as follows:

1. Mörsdorf

2. the suspension bridge Geierlay

3. Loreley

4. winery Boudier & Köller in Stetten (Pfalz)

But not only the content-related work was the focus in Geierlay and Stetten, it was also possible to promote the group dynamics of the team with a joint dinner in the winery Boudier & Koeller. Together, they considered how the subject area could be positioned more attractively in the future so that it would be better received.

The comprehensive "current research and teaching projects" section was moved to Friday, as it became clear that this was a topic of conversation that would take a bit more time. Current events and projects were projected on the wall to give everyone a first impression. This was followed by intensive brainstorming on the longer-term direction of the department.

At the end of the closed meeting, all participants agreed that an excellent working atmosphere prevailed, which then also contributed to the very good work result.
