Zum Mittelstandstag Industrie 4.0 am Deutschen Forschungszentrum für künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), zu dessen Anlass auch Vizekanzler Sigmar Gabriel und Ministerpräsidentin Malu Dreyer angereist waren, öffnete das “Living Lab smart office space” zum ersten Mal die Türen. Gezeigt wurden “smarte” Anwendungen zur Gestaltung von Büroumgebungen, wie z.B. die in einer Feldstudie getesteten Klimastühle, neuartige Sensorik zur Aktivitätserkennung und Umgebungsanpassung und Software-Entwicklungen zur Unterstützung von Wissensarbeit. Zahlreiche Vertreter/-innen aus Industrie und Politik nutzten die Gelegenheit, sich über die geplanten Forschungsarbeiten zu informieren. Die offizielle Eröffnung des Living Lab smart office space ist für Januar 2016 geplant.The "Living Lab smart office space" opened its doors for the first time at the SME Day Industry 4.0 at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), which was also attended by Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and Minister President Malu Dreyer. On display were "smart" applications for the design of office environments, such as the climate chairs tested in a field study, novel sensor technology for activity recognition and environment adaptation, and software developments to support knowledge work. Numerous representatives from industry and politics took the opportunity to inform themselves about the planned research work. The official opening of the Living Lab smart office space is planned for January 2016.
